This is basically a chrome extension in which one can Access other computers or allow another user to access your computer securely over the Internet. By using the chrome remote desktop you can easily remote login to any computer which runs the chrome browser, google has announced that this product which was started about an year ago is finally out of beta testing.

It is fully cross-platform and supports Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. If you wish to try it in Ubuntu, Windows 7 or 8 as well as on Mackintosh then, you must first install Google Chrome (click here to visit the homepage)and enable Chrome Remote Desktop extension(from the Chrome webstore).

Now you need to click here to install this extension via chrome webstore. After installing it go to the site and then click the Launch button as shown below.

Note that in order for this extension to function properly you must install the extension on both systems and grant access to it before connecting, and enter the access code !
